    C(onradus) Dei gratia Romanorum imperator et semper 1149-1150 augustus dilectissimo in Christo fratri suo E(manueli) imperatori Grecorum prepotentissimo indissolubilem fraternae dilectionis affectum.

    Fidelis noster episcopus Ratisponensis, tuae nobilitati plu- rimum affinis, licet in rebus imperii nostri plurimum nobis opor- tunus esset et commodus, detineri tamen nequaquam potuit, quin ob fidei ardorem et exsolvendi voti desiderium sub signo Cru- cifixi Hierosolimam tenderet. Quem, ad tuae celsitudinis pre- sentiam venientem, pro nostrae dilectionis interventu solita libe- ralitate suscipies et, adiutum in his quae sua necessitas poposcerit tam per manus tuae protectionem quam per principum tuorum suffragia, hilarem ad sui propositi effectum dimittes.
