Herzog Albert von Braunschweig bezeugt auf Bitten des Abtes Ernst des Michaelisklosters in Hildesheim, dass jener die Vogtei über vier Hufen des Klosters in Hallendorf gekauft hat. Die Vogtei wurde von den Brüdern Burkhard, Ekbert und Hermann von Wolfenbüttel ihrem Lehnsherrn, dem Grafen Meinhard von Schladen und von diesem seinem Lehnsherrn, dem Bischof von Hildesheim, aufgelassen. In nomine domini amen. Dei gratia Albertus dux de Bruneswich omnibus in perpetuum. Ne res gesta propter labilem memoriam et propter lapsum temporis a mentibus hominum elabatur, necesse est et tam modernorum quam veterum obtinuit consuetudo, ut et scriptis et testibus fulciatur. Ad perpetuam igitur memoriam notum esse volumus tam presentibus quam futuris, quod cum Borchardus, Ecbertus et Hermannus fratres de Wulverbutle advocatiam quatuor mansorum sitorum Hethelendorpe ad ecclesiam sancti Michahelis in Hildensem spectantium, quam de manu comitis Meynardi de Sladem in feodo tenuerunt, ad manus ipsius comitis et idem comes predictam advocatiam ad manus domini Hildensemensis episcopi, quam ab ipso in feodo tenuit, libere resignassent, dominus Ernestus abbas monasterii sancti Michahelis, vir providus et in omnibus circumspectus, predictam advocatiam de predictis fratribus de Wulverbutle et a predicto comite sue ecclesie possidendam perpetuo comparavit, domino episcopo Hildensemensi proprietatem sepedictorum mansorum dicto monasterio conferente. Idem dominus abbas prefate advocatie comparationem a nobis humiliter petiit approbari, quam approbamus et nichilominus confirmamus, volentes eam a predictis fratribus et eorum iustis heredibus perpetuis temporibus inviolabiliter observari. Et ne factum huiusmodi ab aliquo in posterum mutari valeat vel infringi, presentem cartulam super hoc conscribi iussimus et sigilli nostri appensione fecimus communiri. Testes huius rei sunt Bertoldus de Honloghe, canonicus sancti Blasii, Arnoldus Hake, magister Hillebrandus, Conradus de Munstede, canonici sancti Cyriaci Bruneswicensis, Johannes et Ludolphus fratres de Hesnem, Ludolphus de Honloghe, Johannes de Uttesse, milites, et quam plures alii fide digni.
