Papst Eugen III. stellt auf Bitten des Propstes Wezelin das Augustinerchorherrenstift Schiffenburg/Schiffenbergunter apostolischen Schutz, bestätigt ihm die Lebensweise nach der Augustinusregel sowie alle Besitzungen und Zehnten, insbesondere das von der Gräfin Clementia von Gleiberg bereitgestellte Dotationsgut.
