350. The executors of Henry de Edmonton, goldsmith, dispose of 44s. quit-rent on a shop at the corner of Friday Street in the goldsmiths' quarter. Half is given for the clothing of Henry's daughter Matilda, nun of Clerkenwell, during her life, and for a pittance at Clerkenwell on Henry's anniversary thereafter; the other half is for her sister Marsilia, nun of St. Leonard Stratford on the same terms. Dated: 1238-9 (for sheriffs cf. Stow, ii. 154). MS: Cartulary, fo. 98v. (No Latin title.)
