364. Peter son of Alice, daughter of Andrew Neuelun, after being impleaded by the nuns in the Court of Husting for 8s. quit-rent left them by Adam and Nicholas, sons of Peter Neuelun, on property in the parish of St. James on Thames, recognises his obligation to the nuns. The latter relax 2s. of the rent owed and he is to pay the remaining 6s. yearly. Dated: 1249-50 (for mayor and sheriffs, cf. Stow, ii. 156). MS: Cartulary, fo. I03v. (No Latin title.)
