Original Designation: no. 235 (p.154). Notification by Gilbert Foliot II archdeacon of Middlesex that, following the death of Turold parson of Netteswell, John son of Turold, who had claimed against good advice that he had some right in the vacant church, has now freely resigned and quitclaimed any such right. The archdeacon has inspected a grant of Lucius III that the canons should enjoy the benefits of their churches and has instituted the canons in the person of the sub-prior Daniel and given him corporal possession of the church.
