Omnibus fidelibus hoc scriptum visuris Laurencius filius Iocelini de Lek salutem Sciatis me concessisse et dedisse et hac presenti carta mea confirmasse deo et ecclesie Sancte Crucis de Waltham in puram et liberam et perpetuam elemosinam clausum quoddam in Fenthorp pro salute anime mee antecessorum quoque et successorum meorum simul cum Iohanne fratre meo qui in eadem ecclesia habitum religionis suscepit qui eciam idem clausum tenuit quamdiu in seculo fuit Dedi eciam [cum] eo prefate ecclesie de Waltham redditum xx denariorum per annum de una acra terre quam Alanus filius Martini tenuit de eodem Iohanne fratre meo dum in hoc seculo moraretur Et hanc donationem meam ego et heredes mei predicte ecclesie in perpetuum warantizabimus et defendemus contra omnes homines et feminas Ob plenam quoque securitatis graciam hanc cartam meam prefate ecclesie inde feci et sigillo meo apposito confirmavi Hiis testibus Alexandro de Pointone etc[]
