19. Final concord made in the king's court at Bury St Edmunds before the itinerant justices named between Ranulf parson of the church of Hundon on the one hand, and Hugh and Roger de Gardin', William Pollard, Reginald le Granger and Thurstan de Hundon on the other, concerning seventy four acres of land in Hundon. The latter parties recognise the messuage with its orchards, as held by John son of Ailward the parson, together with the twenty acres of land nearest the messuage and half the meadow, to be the right of the said church. In return, Master Ranulf has quitclaimed to them all right in the remainder of the land. 11 April 1219. Hec est finalis concordia facta in curia domini regis apud Sanctum Eadmundum die martis proxima post octabas Sancte Trinitatis anno regni regis Henrici filii regis Iohannis tercio coram Galfrido de Boklande Faukes de Breaute Radulfo Gernun Waltero de Verdun Iordano de Saukevill[] Simone de Insula Ricardo de Seyng[] Iohanne de Wurthestede iusticiariis itinerantibus et aliis fidelibus domini regis tunc ibi presentibus inter magistrum Ranulfum personam ecclesie de Hunden[] et Hugonem de Gardin[] et Rogerum de Gardin[] et Willelmum Pollard[] et Reginaldum le Granger et Thurstanum de Huneden[] de septuaginta et quatuor acris terre cum pertinenciis in Huneden[] unde placitum fuit inter eos in eadem curia scilicet quod predicti Hugo Rogerus Willelmus Reginaldus et Thurstanus recognoverunt totum mesuagium cum pomeriis sicut Iohannes filius Ailwardi persona eiusdem ecclesie tenuit et sicut tempore ipsius limitatum fuit et preterea recognoverunt viginti acras terre de predicta terra propinquiores prefato mesuagio et medietatem tocius prati quod dictus Iohannes tenuit que iacet propinquior mesuagio predicto esse ius prefate ecclesie Et pro hac recognicione fine et concordia idem magister Ranulfus remisit et quietum clamavit pro se inperpetuum ipsis Hugoni Rogero Willelmo Reginaldo et Thurstano et heredibus eorum inperpetuum totum ius et clameum quod habuit in residuo tocius prefate terre cum pertinenciis nomine prefate ecclesie
