Omnibus Christi fidelibus presens scriptum visuris vel audituris Anselmus de Gyse dominus de Aspele salutem Nouerit uniuersitas vestra quod ego diligenter inquirens de jure patronatus et aduocacione ecclesie [de Aspele] memorate ad quem vel ad quos pertineant quia inveni quod dictum jus patronatus et aduocacio ecclesie predicte ad viros religiosos priorem et conuentum de N pertinere dinoscuntur ab antiquo ego sano usus consilio predicta jus patronatus et aduocacionem eiusdem ecclesie pro me et heredibus meis et assignatis meis dictis religiosis et eorum successoribus inperpetuum quietum clamaui concessi et hac presenti carta mea confirmaui In cuius rei testimonium presenti scripto sigillum meum apposui Acta apud Bedeford[] nono die mensis Februarii anno regni regis E decimo Hiis testibus etc
