Comment

Date: Isabella of Gloucester, daughter of William Marshal I, earl of Pembroke, had as her first husband Gilbert de Clare, earl of Gloucester. She died 17 Jan. 1240 at Berkhamsted; her body was buried at Beaulieu and her heart at Tewkesbury (Annales Monastici, I, p. 113). Helston is 8.5 miles from St Keverne.
