Hec est finalis concordia facta in curia domini regis apud Catteshale extra sanctum Edmundum anno regni regis Henrici secundi xxxiii die mercurii proxima post festum sancti Petri apostoli ad uincula coram Radulfo archidiacono Colec[] et Rogero filio Reinfrei et Roberto de Witefeld[] et Michaele Belet iusticiis domini regis et aliis fidelibus domini regis ibidem tunc presentibus inter abbatem sancti Edmundi et conuentum eiusdem loci et Widonem nepotem Roberti de Simplinges de quodam redditu xii denariorum per annum in Meringethorp unde placitum erat inter eos in curia domini regis Scilicet quod predictus Wido et heredes sui reddent singulis annis ad festum sancti Michaelis xii denarios sacristie sancti Edmundi de socagio quod Semannus presbiter tenet in predicta uilla Et predictus Wido fecit homagium abbati sancti Edmundi de predicto socagio Et idem Wido quietum clamauit in perpetuum totum ius quod clamabat in aduocatione ecclesie in eiusdem uille fundate in predicto socagio de se et de heredibus suis abbati et conuentui sancti Edmundi
