Omnibus presentes litteras inspecturis uel audituris Robertus custos Domus Dei Suthampton et eiusdem loci fratres salutem in domino Noueritis nos per inspectionem et examinationem cartarum nostrarum et rotulorum necnon fidedignorum assertionem perpendimus nos teneri ecclesie sancti Dionisii iuxta Suthampton in decem et septem solidis et sex denariis sterlingorum annui redditus de subscriptis locis et tenementis que de predicta ecclesia tenemus in Suthampton uidelicet de domo persone sancti Michaelis in uico franco que fuit Galfridi Sissoris decem et octo denariis de domo Walteri Palmare in eodem uico decem et octo denariis de selda lapidea quam Rogerus le Barbur tenet de nobis ad corneram australem de Symenelestret quinque [solidis] de domo Roberti de Sumborne in dicto uico franco sita inter quoddam [tenementum] Henrici Bryan ex una parte et domum que fuit Thome le Mercir ex altera ubi merces uenduntur quatuor solidis de terra Iohannis de Bristoll ad Fuleflod inter domum Roberti de la Wilderne ex una parte et domum Andree Hurtebal ex altera decem et octo denariis et de terra Ade de Northam et Sewoldi quam Iohannes de Bristoll tenet ad turnum chalcete uersus ecclesiam sancte Marie ab austro quatuor solidis Quare uolumus et concedimus pro nobis et successoribus nostris quod canonici supradicte ecclesie sancti Dionisii libere et quiete recipiant supradictum redditum de supradictis locis et tenementis terminis constitutis et districtiones suas faciant propter eundem redditum super eadem loca et tenementa quotiens necesse fuerit non obstante aliqua contradictione uel reclamatione nostrum uel aliquorum successorum nostrorum In cuius rei testimonium presenti scripto in modum cirographi confecto sigillum nostrum apposuimus ex una parte et Nicholaus tunc dicte ecclesie sancti Dionisii prior et eiusdem loci conuentus sigilla sua apposuerunt ex altera Hiis testibus Nicholao de Beket Henrico Flandrensi Nicholao de Bareflut Iohanne Blundo Willelmo Thom et aliis Datum anno domini mcclx septimo mense Februarii
