Hec est conuentio facta ad festum sancti Michelis anno secundo postquam rex Ricardus rediit de Alemannia inter monachos de Tama et Samsonem de Pomerio et Cristianam de Belawe uxorem eius et heredes eorum quod Samson et heredes sui relaxauerunt monachis de Tama et quietum clamauerunt fossatum quod monachi fecerunt iuxta boscum de Merston quamdiu boscus durat et totum clamium suum quod inter predictum fossatum habuerunt tam in assarto quam sine assarto integre deo et monachis dederunt in perpetuam elemosinam Monachi uero Samsoni et heredibus suis tres uias apertas in boscum de Merstone warantizabunt scilicet unam ad Bettenhale et aliam ad magnam Woleie et terciam ad Sotesham ad aquam concesseruntque Samson et heredes sui monachis talem communam in bosco suo qualem habere debent et monachi Samsoni et hominibus suis Testibus Adam capellano Willelmo de Uptune Gaufrido fratre eius Iohanne de Rocheford et aliis
