Uniuersis sancte matris ecclesie filiis ad quos presens scriptum peruenerit Simon rector ecclesie de Luwetune salutem Nouerit uniuersitas uestra me obligasse fide media ad solutionem xiiii solidorum domino priori de Newentune uel eius assignato scilicet ad natiuitatem beate Marie iiii sol et viii den et ad festum beati Nicolai iiii sol et viii den si autem contingat quod prefatus Simon in solutione dictorum terminorum cessauerit incurret penam ad quemlibet terminum unius bisenci Preterea dictus Simon probabit solutionem vii solidorum infra ultimum terminum secundum uoluntatem domini prioris et si defecerit in probatione persoluet istos denarios ad introitum Quadragesime subpena supradicta Facta autem est hec conuentio ad festum sancte Margarete proximo sequens post consecrationem R episcopi Lincolniensis et in huius rei testimonium huic scripto meum cum aliorum aposui Hiis testibus domino R rectore de ecclesia de Newentune et Roberto de Horewode et multis aliis
