Final concord made at Westminster by which Nicholas de la Bedefeud and Felice his wife, deforciants, acknowledged the right of Hugh de Kent, plaintiff, to a messuage with 2 1-2 virgates in Conderton which they had granted to him, and Hugh at the request of Nicholas and Felice granted the tenement to Prior Thomas. Afterwards Hugh gave Nicholas and Felice 30s. 7 July 1258 462. Hec est finalis concordia facta in curia domini regis apud Westmonasterium a die sancti Johannis Baptiste in quindecim dies anno regni regis Henrici filii regis Johannis xl secundo coram Roberto de Briwes et Nicholao de Hanlo iustic[] et aliis domini regis fidelibus tunc ibidem presentibus inter Hugonem de Kent querentem et Nicholaum de Bedefeud et Feliciam uxorem eius deforciantes de uno mesuagio duabus virgatis terre et dimidia cum pertinentiis in Kanterton[] unde placitum conuencionis sumonitum fuit inter eos in eadem curia Scilicet quod predicti Nicholaus et Felicia recognouerunt predictum tenementum cum pertinentiis esse ius Hugonis[] ut illud quod idem Hugo habet de dono predictorum Nicholai et Felicie et illud remisit et quietum clamauit de se et heredibus ipsius Felicie predicto Hugoni et heredibus ipsius in perpetuum Et pro hac recognitione remissione et quieta clamatione fine et concordia idem Hugo ad instantiam predictorum Nicholai et Felicie concessit Thome priori beate Marie Wygorn[] et ecclesie sue Wygorn[] predictum tenementum cum pertinentiis habend et tenend eidem priori et successoribus suis et ecclesie sue predicte de capitalibus dominis feodi illius inperpetuum faciendo inde omnia seruicia que ad illud tenementum pertinent Et preterea predictus Hugo dedit predictis Nicholao et Felicie triginta solidos sterlingorum
