Anno ab Incarnacione Domini millesimo ducentesimo quinquagesimo septimo ad Pentecosten in hunc modum conuenit inter dominum W de Fort[ibus] comitem Alb[emar]l[ie] ex una parte et dominum A priorem et conuentum de Boulton ex altera uidelicet quod idem comes dedit concessit et hoc presenti scripto cyrographato confirmauit dicto priori et canonicis septem acras terre in territorio de Silesdene que iacent iuxta boscum de Kildewyk sicut se extendunt usque ad aquam de Ayr tenend et habend sibi et successoribus suis imperpetuum in liberam puram et perpetuam elemosinam et ad eas includendas fossato uel haya uel quocunque alio modo inde melius uiderint commodum suum facere absque contradiccione seu impedimento aliquo sui uel heredum suorum uel successorum suorum licite et pacifice eisdem concessit pro excambio quinque acrarum terre de pura elemosina ipsorum canonicorum in territorio de Embeseye que scilicet iacent ad caput de Leye uersus orientem sicut se extendunt in Hellerbec quas scilicet dicti prior et conuentus dederunt concesserunt et presenti scripto cyrographato confirmauerunt prefato comiti ad includendum infra parcum suum de Leye tenend et habend sibi et heredibus suis imperpetuum Ita quod si animalia ipsorum canonicorum uel hominum suorum ipsum parcum intrauerint pro defectu clausture non imparcabuntur nec dabunt excapium set benigne et pacifice sine querela aut dampno returnabuntur et liberabuntur et si aueria dicti comitis uel hominum suorum parcum predictorum prioris et conuentus intrauerint pro defectu clausture non inparcabuntur nec dabunt excapium set benigne et pacifice sine querela aut dampno returnabuntur et liberabuntur In cuius rei testimonium et securitatem sub alternacione huic scripto cyrographato sigilla sua apposuerunt Hiis testibus domino Iohanne le Uauasur domino Eustachio de Rilleston domino Ada de Sancto Martino domino Godefrido de Altaripa domino Wydone de Boiuill domino Maugero le Uauasur domino Elia de Knolle Henrico de Cesterhunte Thoma de Lelay tunc constabular[io] de Skypton Willelmo de Hertlington[] Willelmo Mauleuerer de Bemesley Willelmo filio Symonis de Marton Petro Gilot Radulfo Darel Willelmo filio Alani de Katherton et aliis
