Omnibus sancte ecclesie filiis presentibus et futuris uidentibus et audientibus has literas Matildis filia Willelmi de Percy comitissa de Warewic salutem Sciatis me dedisse et hac mea carta confirmasse Deo et monachis ecclesie sancte Marie de Fontibus quandam partem foreste mee de Gyseburn[] scilicet Holm cum omnibus pertinenciis et aisiamentis suis et quicquid continetur in bosco et plano in omnibus locis et in omnibus rebus infra has diuisas scilicet sicut illud sichet quod magis est el suh uenit de Holm et uadit per medium illam bruze que plus est el suh usque dum illud idem cadit in Schirdene et inde recta linea prescidente intransuersum deuersus lest usque ad superius capud de Akedene et in[de] per illam uiam que uenit de Lonesdale et uadit el est de Welpestanes usque dum uenit ad illam uiam que plus est el nord et uenit de Bohland scilicet el suh de Hwelpestanes et a predicto sichet quod uenit de Holm et plus est uersus le suh recta linea el west usque ad diuisam que est inter forestam de Gyseburn[] et forestam Rogeri de Laci Hec omnia dedi in mea sanitate et in mea libera et legia potestate Deo et sancte Marie et prenominate ecclesie de Fontibus simul cum corpore meo in domo eadem sepeliendo in puram et perpetuam elemosinam et sicut aliqua elemosina liberius dari potest pro salute anime mee patris et matris mee et omnium antecessorum et heredum meorum Et ego et heredes mei omnia predicta ecclesie de Fontibus guarantabimus contra omnes sicut puram elimosinam et liberam ab omni consuetudine et ab omni re ad terram pertinente sine omni retenemento mei uel heredum meorum salua pastura quam abbacie de Sallay et monialibus de Stainfeld[] et Roberto de Beugrant homini meo et Iuliane camerarie mee in predicta foresta de Giseburn[] [dedi] sicut carte eorum purportant quas inde habent de me Habebunt eciam liberum transitum introitum et exitum sibi et hominibus suis et aueriis suis per terram meam ubi eis placuerit ad omnia predicta sine omni impedimento mei uel heredum meorum Quando forte acciderit quod aueria eorum per euasionem sine custodia facta predictas diuisas transierint et super meum uenerint non inde causabuntur uel uexabuntur in cuiuscumque manus predicta foresta de Giseburn[] deuenerit Hii sunt testes Adam tunc abbas de Sallay Turgisus abbas de Kirkestal et multi alii
