Omnibus Christi fidelibus lecturis uel audituris litteras has Beatrix Darel filia Gaufridi Darel salutem Sciatis quod ego Beatrix inuadiaui canonicis de Wart[ria] totam terram illam quam habui de feudo Gaufridi Darel patris mei uidelicet quinque bouatas terre cum omnibus pertinenciis suis infra uillam et extra uillam cum quatuor toftis tofto scilicet Philippi tofto Gaufridi tunc diaconi tofto Annays tofto inter toftum Henrici molendinarii et toftum Ingemundi pelliparii unius acre et dimidie et dimidiam partem culture que iacet iuxta aulam que fuit Gaufridi Darel ad aquilonarem partem predicte aule et dimidiam partem alterius culture ultra uiam que dicitur Staydgat ad australem partem predicte uie Hec omnia ut prenominata sunt inuadiaui predictis canonicis uiginti annis pro quinquaginta marcis argenti quibus ego obligata fueram erga iudeos pro debito Gaufridi Darel patris mei ea condicione quod postquam uiginti anni transacti fuerint ego uel heredes mei reddemus antedictis canonicis quatraginta et septem marcas argenti ad festum sancti Martini et quietam et solutam ab eis accipiemus terram nostram quod si tunc eam adquietare non poterimus iterum sub eadem condicione remanebit eis predicta terra in uadium aliis xx annis quibus transactis ego uel heredes mei persoluemus predictis canonicis quatraginta et iiii or marcas argenti et ita recipiemus terram nostram quietam et absolutam ab eis Et si tunc eam adquietare non poterimus tercio remanebit eis predicta terra aliis xx annis in uadium sub eadem condicione Et notandum est quod quamdiu predictam terram sub condicione eadem redempcionis uel adquietacionis tenuerint uidelicet ad prefatos tres terminos singulis annis dabunt antenotati canonici mihi et heredibus meis in uilla Wart[rie] in die sancti Iacobi unam libram piperis et alteram cymini pro omnibus seruiciis ad me uel ad heredes meos pertinentibus faciendo tamen forinsecum seruicium mihi et heredibus meis Sciendum etiam quod ad hunc tercium terminum uidelicet post ter xx annos licebit mihi et heredibus [meis] predictam terram redimere uel adquietare reddendo canonicis quadraginta et unam marcam argenti Quod si tunc eam adquietare non poterimus deinceps non licebit nobis eam redimere uel adquietare sed remanebit eadem terra cum omnibus pertinenciis suis intra uillam et extra uillam Deo et ecclesie sancti Iacobi de Wart[ria] et canonicis ibidem Deo seruientibus in perpetuam elemosinam liberam et quietam ab omni seruicio terreno et seculari exaccione quantum ad me uel ad heredes meos pertinet faciendo tamen forinsecum seruicium apud Wart[riam] Hec omnia ut prenotata sunt ego Beatrix Darel filia Gautridi Darel tenend et warantizanda absque dolo et malo ingenio affidaui in manu Hugonis canonici Adhuc etiam sciendum est quod non licebit nobis nec heredibus meis predictam terram redimere uel adquietare nisi ad usus nostros proprios Hec carta fuit facta anno ab incarnacione Domini m c xxx v Hiis testibus etc
