Universis presens scriptum visuris vel audituris Willelmus prior de Thurgarton[] et ejusdem loci conventus salutem Noverit universitas vestra nos de comuni consensu et assensu capituli nostri concessisse dedisse et hac presenti carta nostra confirmasse Roberto filio Egidii civis Linc[] et legitimis heredibus suis furnum nostrum in Sapergate et quatuor domos nostras proximas eidem furno versus orientem cum omnibus pertinenciis suis tenend de nobis libere et quiete reddendo inde annuatim nobis unam marcam argenti pro omni servicio et exaccione ad nos pertinente medietatem infra quindecim dies Pasche et medietatem infra quindecim dies a die sancti Michaelis Et sciendum est quod quocienscumque dictus Robertus vel heredes sui a solucione dicte marce annue cessaverint ad singulos terminos quibus cessaverint quinque solidos nomine pene simul cum firma ejusdem termini nobis prestabunt Preterea predictus Robertus et heredes sui predictum furnum cum domibus prenominatis sustinebunt et predictam firmam perpetuo nobis perficient Nos autem fideliter eidem Roberto promisimus quod neque prohibebimus nec impedimus nec aliquo modo in eam erimus quominus tenentes nostri predicto furno sectam faciant debitam et consuetam Ad majorem vero hujus rei securitatem presens scriptum sigillum utriumque appensis in modum carte cirografate confectum est ad Pascha anno gracie millesimo ducentesimo quadragesimo Hiis testibus etc
