Sciant presentes et futuri quod ego Johannes filius Herberti consensu et assensu Emeline uxoris mee tradidi ad firmam duas bovatas terre cum pertinenciis in villa de Hatton[] Willelmo de Drakelowe et Roberto filio Alfrici et heredibus suis sive assignatis tenend et habend sibi et heredibus suis de me quam diu eis predictas bovatas terre potero warantizare Reddendo inde annuatim nomine firme michi vel cui assignavero ipsi et heredes sui vel assignati dimidiam marcam ad duos terminos pro omni servicio scilicet ad purificacionem beate Marie tres solidos et iiii denarios et ad vincula sancti Petri tres solidos et iiii denarios Hec autem convencio facta fuit anno ab incarnacione domini m cc xx viii circiter festum sancti Johannis Baptiste Pro hac autem firme tradicione dederunt predicti Willelmus de Drakelowe et Robertus filius Alfrici predicto Johanni filio Herberti duo talenta ad introitum Et ut hec firme tradicio firmitatis robur optineat presens scriptum utriusque partis sigilli munimine roboratur Hiis testibus
