668 De convencione facta pro decintis capeUe de Knokin. Agreement, made before the papal judges delegate, between the abbey and Bro. Thos. master of the Hospital- lers of North and South Wales, whereby the abbey surrenders certain documents relating to Kinnerley church, which is held by the Hospitallers, and gives up its claim to the tithes of Osbaston and all the mortuary dues from Knockin. It is also agreed that each year the Parishioners of Knockin shall go to Kinnerley church on St. Bridget's day (I Feb.) with their oblations. In return the Hospitallers abandon their claim to Knockin chapel, provided that the usual annual pension of 12d. due to Kinnerley church, is also paid (I June 1248).
