Universis sancte matris ecclesie filiis et fidelibus Cadwaladrus frater Owini magni salutem in domino Notum sit universitati vestre quod ego Cadwaladrus pro salute anime mee et omnium antecessorum et heredum meorum dedi et concessi deo et ecclesie sancti Johannis evangeliste de Haghmon[] et canonicis ibidem deo servientibus in puram et perpetuam elemosinam ecclesiam de Nevyn cum omnibus pertinentiis suis et totam terram que est inter duos rivulos inter quos predicta ecclesia sita est et totam terram de Cheemhoc[] cum omnibus pertinentiis et aisiamentis suis in pratis et in pascuis et in omnibus aliis rebus et locis Quare volo et precipio firmiter quatinus predicti canonici hanc meam donacionem libere et quiete et absque ullo gravamine et mala consuetudine teneant et inperpetuum in pace possideant Hiis testibus Maurico episcopo David et Reso et Moyse fratribus eius Aliz de Clara uxore mea etc

Date: Date- probably during the period between 1141 and 1143 xhcn Cadwaladr was involved in English affairs. In 1141 he joined the Empress's forces and fought in the battle of Lincoln 'Ord. Vit. v, 127), and in 1143 he was temporarily expelled from iis lands by his brother (Brut y Tyw. Pen. 53, R13. 119). Cf. no. 789.
