116 Final concord in which Mabel widow of Richard of Foxton, plaintiff, claims as her dower- a carucate and one knight's service in Foxton, Bowden, Market Harborough, Scalford and Gumley (all Leics) against Alan Basset of North Luffenham and his wife Amice; a carucate and one knight's service in the same vills against Richard de Midelton (?Middleton, Northants) and his wife Beatrice; three quarters of a virgate in Foxton against John abbot of Sulby (Wetford) (Northants); and a bovate in Foxton against Richard son of Philip. Alan and Amice and Richard and Beatrice conceded to Mabel as dower 2 carucates and the service from a carucate andfrom half a virgate, all in Foxton.
