130 Final concord whereby Richard Basset, defendant, after an assize utrum, recognized a messuage and 2 acres in Sutton (Northants, probably Sutton Bassett) to be the property of Matthew parson of the church there, plaintiff, and of his church, and quitclaimed them to him. Hec est finalis concordia facta in curia domini regis apud Norhampton[] die sancti Mathei apostoli anno regni regis Henrici filii regis Johannis undecimo coram Stephano de Segrave Willelmo filio Warini Willelmo de Lond[] Willelmo Basset justic[] itinerantibus et aliis fidelibus domini regis tunc ibi presentibus inter Matheum personam ecclesie de Sutton[] petentem et Ricardum Basset deforciantem de uno mesuagio et duabus acris terre cum pertinentiis in Sutton[] unde assisa sumonita fuit inter eos in prefata curia ad recongnoscendum utrum predictum mesuagium et predicte due acre terre cum pertinentiis essent libera elemosina pertinens ad ecclesiam suam de Sutton[] an laicum feodum ipsius Ricardi scilicet quod predictus Ricardus recognovit predictum mesuagium et predictas duas acras terre cum pertinentiis esse jus ipsius Mathei et ecclesie sue de Sutton[] et ille remisit et quietum clamavit de se et heredibus suis predicto Matheo et successoribus suis personis ecclesie de Sutton[] inperpetuum Et pro hac recognitione remissione et quieta clamantia fine et concordia predictus Matheus dedit predicto Ricardo dimidiam marcam argenti
