Hec est finalis concordia facta in curia domini regis apud Westm[] in octabis purificationis beate Marie anno regni regis Henrici filii regis Johannis vicesimo nono coram Henrico de Bathonia Rogero de Thurkelby Roberto de Notingh[] Jollano de Nevill[] Gylberto de Preston[] et Johanne de Cobeham justic[] et aliis domini regis fidelibus tunc ibi presentibus inter Elyzabetham filiam Reginaldi Basset petentem et Willelmum Basset tenentem de quarta parte manerii de Adestok[] cum pertinentiis unde placitum fuit inter eos in eadem curiascilicet quod predictus Willelmus recognovit predictam quartam partem eiusdem manerii scilicet totam terram cum pertinentiis quam Reginaldus Basset pater ipsius Elyzabethe cuius heres ipsa est tenuit in eadem villa esse jus ipsius Elyzabethe Et pro hac recogn[itione] fine et concordia eadem Elyzabetha concessit predicto Willelmo predictam terram cum pertinentiis habend et tenend eidem Willelmo tota vita sua de predicta Elyzabetha et heredibus suis reddendo inde per annum unam libram cymini vel tres denarios ad Pascha et faciendo inde forinsecum servitium quantum ad predictam terram pertinet pro omni servitio secta curie consuetudine et exactione Et eadem Elyzabetha et heredes sui warantizabunt adquietabunt et defendent eidem Willelmo tota vita sua predictam terram cum pertinentiis per predicta servitia contra omnes homines Et post decessum ipsius Willelmi tota predicta terra cum omnibus pertinentiis suis revertetur ad predictam Elyzabetham et heredes suos quieta de heredibus predicti Willelmi imperpetuum
