Hec est finalis concordia facta in curia domini regis apud Norhampton[] a die sancti Johannis baptiste in tres septimanas anno regni regis Henrici filii regis Johannis tricesimo primo coram Rogero de Thurkelby Gilberto de Preston[] magistro Simone de Wauton[] et Johanne de Cobbeham justic[] itinerantibus et aliis domini regis fidelibus tunc ibi presentibus inter Galfridum le Megre petentem et Ricardum Basset tenentem de duabus partibus unius virgate terre cum pertinentiis in Northweston[] unde placitum fuit inter eos in eadem curia scilicet quod predictus Galfridus remisit et quietum clamavit de se et heredibus suis predicto Ricardo Basset et heredibus suis totum jus et clamium quod habuit in predictis duabus partibus predicte terre cum pertinentiis imperpetuum Et preterea idem Galfridus remisit et quietum clamavit de se et heredibus suis predicto Ricardo Basset et heredibus suis totum jus et clamium quod habuit in tertia parte predicte virgate terre cum pertinentiis quam tertiam partem Cristiana que fuit uxor Walteri filii Rannulfi clamat in dotem versus eumdem Ricardum Basset imperpetuum Et pro hac remissione quieta clamantia fine et concordia idem Ricardus Basset dedit predicto Galfrido sex marcas et quadraginta denarios
