169 Final concord between Miles Basset, plaintiff, and William bishop of Salisbury, defendant, concerning 3 acres and a messuage in North Moreton and the advowson of the church of that vill, regarding all of which things Giles of Bridport, archdeacon of Berkshire, vouched the defendant to warrant. Miles recognized these things to belong to the bishop and quitclaimed them to him. Hec est finalis concordia facta in curia domini regis apud Rading[] in octabis sancti Johannis baptiste anno regni regis Henrici filii regis Johannis tricesimo secundo coram Rogero de Thurkelby Gilberto de Preston[] magistro Simone de Wauton[] et Johanne de Cobbeham justic[] itinerantibus et aliis domini regis fidelibus tunc ibi presentibus inter Milonem Basset petentem et Willelmum episcopum Sarr[] quem Egidius de Brideport archidiaconus Berks[] vocavit ad warantum et qui ei warantizavit de tribus acris terre et uno mesuagio cum pertinentiis in Northmorton[] et advocatione ecclesie eiusdem ville cum pertinentiis unde placitum fuit inter eos in eadem curia scilicet quod predictus Milo recognovit predictam terram mesuagium et advocationem eiusdem ecclesie cum pertinentiis esse jus ipsius episcopi et ecclesie sue Sarr[] et illa remisit et quietaclamavit de se et heredibus suis predicto episcopo et successoribus suis et ecclesie sue Sarr[] inperpetuum Et idem episcopus recepit predictum Milonem et heredes suos in singulis beneficiis et orationibus que de cetero fient in ecclesia sua Sarr[] inperpetuum
