Universis praesentes literas inspecturis vel audituris Johannes pater Thomae Abbatis de Seleby salutem in Domino Noverit universitas vestra me constituisse per praesentes literas et ordinasse Johannem filium Ricardi de Wystowe clericum attornatum meum ad ponendum Abbatem de Seleby et Conventum in plena seisina de omnibus terris et pratis quas eisdem religiosis per cartas meas inde confectas tradidi dedi et confirmavi ratum habens et firmum quodcunque dictus attornatus meus in praemissis fecerit seu duxerit faciendum In cujus rei testimonium sigillum meum praesentibus duxi apponendum Dat apud Seleby in vigilia Nativitatis Beatae Mariae anno Domini m cc lxx nono
