Ad curiam tentam apud Newelond die lune in crastino advincule sancti Petri anno regni regis Henrici quarti post conquestum septimo venerunt Thomas Bricheleigh et Iohannes Basset de Witham wulmongere et ceperunt de domino unam placeam terre iacentem in hameletto de Newelond et extendit predicta placea terre in longi tudine a porta carectali predicti Thome situata in tenemento vocato Bricheleighestenement usque ad regale cheminum ac permanebit prout est hac instanti die Ita quod predicti Thomas et Iohannes et heredes sui possunt semper et in perpetuum habere viam suam satis largam cum liberis introitibus et exitibus pro quibuscumque carriagiis suis per placeam predictam faciendis ad libitum eorundem Thome et Iohannis heredum seu assignatorum suorum in perpetuum Et dominus per senescallum suum concessit eis placeam predictam cum liberis introitibus et exitibus a porta predicta usque ad predictum regale cheminum et a predicto regali chemino usque ad et in predictam portam tenend de domino predictam placeam terre separabilem eisdem Thome et Iohanni heredibus et assignatis eorum in perpetuum per virgam reddendo inde annuatim domino et successoribus suis tres denarios ad duos anni terminos usuales per equales porciones et fecit domino fidelitatem Et dominus concessit quantum in se est quod non liceat aliis tenentibus qui tenementa sua tenent et inposterum tenebunt ex utraque parte placee terre predicte aliquid ibidem ponere per quod iidem Thomas et Iohannes aut heredes vel assignati sui sint inpediti vel perturbati de cariagiis suis ibidem faciendis salvis semper tenentibus predictis liberis introitibus et exitibus de tenementis suis per predictam placeam usque ad regale cheminum predictum et ad gardinam suam iuxta predictam placeam existencia et abuttancia in perpetuum
