lite inde terminata. Viro religioso et discreto in Christo sibi dilecto, domino
W. Dei permissione, abbati de Dunis, Johannes eadem permissione abbas monasterii
Sancti Bavonis Gandensis, salutem et sinceram in Domino dilectionem. Discretioni
vestre significamus, quod discordia que vertebatur, inter ecclesiam vestram de
Dunis, ex una parte, et Sygerum, filium domini Fernandi, militis de Mendonc, ex
altcra, super quadam decima , jaccnte in parochia de Westdorp, proproborum
consilio in hunc modum est pacata et totaliter sopita in hunc modum, quod dictus
Sygcrus decimas quinquc mensurarum terre, ibidem habeat in perpetuum, salvis
omnibus decimis, quas idem S. in eadem villa hactenus possedit pacifice et
quiete. Et quia idera Sygcrus sigillum non habet proprium, in testimonium
premissorum sigillum nostrum presentibus litteris duximus apponendum. Actum anno
