      Universis Christi fidelibus ad quos presens scriptum pcrvenerit, H. vocatus abbas, totus- que conventus ecclesic sancti Petri Gandensis salutem in Domino. Notum esse volumus uuiversitati vestre quod pie memorie Philippus, comes Flandrie, in puram elemosinam contulit ecclesie nostre totam decimam terre, que est inter Hontenesse et Osncsse, que Sand, sive Werpland Comitis vocatur, et nos eandem decimam omni tempore, quoad vixit predictus comes Philippus. liberc possedimus ct quiete, nemine nobis dante contradictionem aliquam, vel calumniam inferente. Postea vero terram illam cum integritatc decime, sicut eam omni tem- pore prefati comitis Philippi pacifice possederamus, resignavimus utiliter ad opus ecclessie sancte Marie de Dunis. Hoc igitur ab omnibus indubitatum haberi volentes, idcirco duximus attestari cum ne veritas periclitetur, aut ecclesia de Dunis super eo quod legitimc possedit ex minorum noticia veritatis molestiara ab aliquo patiatur.
