Precedentium patrum prudens antiquitas sollerti invenit ingenio, ut ea, que in posterum conservanda disponuntur, litteris commendentur et sic in memoriam futurorum levius revocentur. Notum sit omnibus in Christo pie viventibus, quod in tempore Petri abbatis de Bel homines Bespriensis castri quandam terram Sancti Mauricii de villa Scis occupaverunt dicentes terram esse castri, non ecclesie. Predictus autem abbas de Bel ante Iohannem, Strigoniensem archiepiscopum, eos appellavit ac iusto iudicio eos devicit et predictam terram ordine iudicario ecclesia optinuit. In expensam vero illius negocii sacerdos quidam nomine Paussa, de iobagionibus eiusdem ecclesie, dedit unam marcam tali conditione, ut in predicta terra et de silva et de feno unam partem haberet, sicut unus hominum habitantium in terra. Huius autem rei conscii et testes sunt abbas Benedictus Sancti M(artini) et Marcus decanus, Farcadinus cantor, Moyses custos, Heymo comes eiusdem ecclesie, Hevsque sacerdos, iobagiones ecclesie, Lucas et Iod filii ecclesie. Ut autem huius rei stabilitas in perpetuum inviolata consistat, pagine descriptione est confirmate.||
