Nos frater Petrus, miseratione divina abbas monasterii Beati Mauricii [de Beel conve]ntusque loci eiusdem tenore presentium significamus, quibus expedit, universis, quod, quia ratione dictante et iustitia exigente dignum est, ut laboratori merces expendatur, hinc est, quod propter fidelia servitia, que Iohannes, filius Stephani, dictus Panzel de Coppan monasterio nostro fecit, videlicet tribus vicibus ad exercitum domini regis ultra marinas partes suis laboribus et expensis propriis pro monasterio nostro eundo, in quibus sanguinem suum causa monasterii nostri effudit, atque aliis servitiis quam plurimis factis, pro quorum remuneratione unam particulam terre nostre Mortefeuld nuncupatam, que etiam prius a predecessoribus ipsius Iohannis monasterio nostro pertinebat, eidem Iohanni et heredibus suis universis cum consilio fratrum nostrorum ac iobagionum nobilium ecclesie nostre contulimus et donavimus perpetuo possidendam, tenendam et habendam. In cuius rei testimonium presentes litteras sigillo nostro proprio fecimus communiri eo, quod pro tunc conventus noster sigillo suo propter dominum nostrum regem caruit, sicut aliorim conventuum privationem. Datum anno Domini millesimo trecentesimo quinquagesimo quarto, in die Beatorum Fabiani et Sebastiani martirum. [1354. jan. 20.]
