CXII. Der römische König Adolf gewinnt den edlen Mann Johann genannt Spiez den
Jüngern von Hunolstein zu seinem und des Beichs Vasallen. 1293 Juni 19. Adolf us dei
gratia Bomanorum Bex semper Augustus. Nobili viro Johanni dicto Spiez Juniori de
Hunolstein, dilecto suo fideli, gratiam suam et omne bonum. Propter grata deuócionis
obsequia, que nobis et Imperio impendisti et adhuc impendere poteris graciora, uolentes
tibi porrigere munificencie nostre manum, te nobis et Imperio in vasallum duximus
conquirendum, et pro homagio, quod a te recepimus, centum Marcas denariorum Coloniensium
infra presentis anni spatium tibi promittimus nos daturos, uel assignare decem Marcas
redditus cum centum Marcis den. Colon. redimendos; qua pecunia persoluta, conuertetur in
emptionem prediorum habendorum a nobis et Imperio a te et a tuis heredibus iusto titulo
feodali. Datum apud Hachenberg XIII Kal. Julii. Ind. VI. anno domini M.CCLXXXXin. Regni
