        Die Initiale F in Blattgold (Capitalis) und von Flechtwerk (weiss vor blauem und rotviolettem Grund – girari bianchi). (Deckfarbeninitiale). Textanschluss in Capitalis.
      • Stil und Einordnung: 
        Diese prachtvolle Flechtwerkinitiale ist, nach einem Stück von 1485 Juli 12, dessen Initiale herausgeschnitten wurde, das erste vollständig erhaltene Prunkstück aus Mantua. Der historisierte Anteil beschränkt sich auf ein Medaillon mit einer Bilddevise.
