    • Materielle Beschreibung: 
      Initiale L(udovicus) stark vergrössert und mit luftigen Ranken links des Schriftspiegels und (teilweise) oberhalb des Textes. Links in diese integriert das Wappen der Stadt Bellinzona; darunter auch eine Tabula ansata mit den Initialen des Souveräns und eine Gemme. Der obere Rand mittig mit Wappen Ludwigs und Wappenhaltern.
    • Ostinelli sieht stilistische Parallelen zum sogenannten „Maestro delle Ore Landriani“ [für weitere Vergleiche siehe den italienischen Text von Marina Bernasconi].
