    In nomine Domini. Philippus de Bolande. Universis notum fieri volumus, qualiter (lis), que fuerat inter abbatem et clau- strum de Otterburg ex una parte, et Merbodonem et fratres eius de Bylenstein ex alia parte, coram nobis, cum ex parte regis Friderici essemus apud Lutream, sopita fuit super feodo, quod Merbodo sibi afhrmabat pertinere ex morte Henrici, filii Symonis de Lutrea; qui Symon illud tenuisse dicebatur de manu Ulrici maioris prepositi Wormatiensis ; abbas autem et fratres sui asserebant, eundem prepositum illud possedisse, quando ecclesie beate Marie in Otterburg illud contulit, et in obitu suo cum totali allodio suo in Santbach reliquit, et post obitum eius Merbodo sibi vendicavit. In arbitrium ergo nostrum partibus compromittentibus constituimus, quod abbas et fratres sui quinque libras Metensium Merbodoni et fr a tri bus suis et matri darent; et ipsi pariter Ulis bonis abrenuntiantes, eadem in perpetua pace et quiete dimitterent claustro possidenda. Quod cum ex utraque parte factum fuisset, in memoriam facti pre

    sentem cartam sigillo nostro fecimus consignan. Testes huius rei: Heinricus de Randecken, Wernherus Kolbo, Stephanus de Waldecke, Egeno de Scharfenstein, Reinardus et Syfridus de Honecke, Eberhardus de Wiezzen, Herbordus et Reinardus, Albero de Wielenstein, Hartmudus prepositus de Lutra et multi alii.
