    Cautum est moderni temporis actiones propter humane fra- gilitatis memoriam vivaci scripturarum testimonio roborari. Igitur ego Eberhardus dictus comes de Eberstein et uxor mea Adel- heidis nosse cupimus tam presentes quam futuros, quibus hec legenda innotuerint, quod Marquardus homo noster et Ofima coniux ipsius, ducti cuiusdam necessitatis articulo, collecta manu parique voto bona sua et possessiones proprias in Kirch heim religiosis viris de Otterburg tytulo venditionis legitime, omni remota suorum reclamatione propinquorum seu amicorum, absolute et libere contulerunt. Qui etiam hac de causa nostrum favorem requirentes a nobis suppliciter petierunt et obtinuerunt, ut nostro assensu et voluntate bona rata predicta venditio in perpetuum habeatur. Quapropter ne qua emulorum fraus et calumpnia huic possit contractui in posterum revocari, presen tem cedulam, ipsis nostram inclinantes benevolentiam, duximus nostri sigilli munimine roborari.
