Tsar Kaloyan informs the Pope that his messenger had reached Bulgaria and brought the palium to Archbishop Basil, who was declared the Primate of all Bulgaria and Valachia. Tsar asks for another embassy that would bring him an imperial crown and he plans to send his confidant Blasius, now Bishop of Braničevo, with rich gifts to Rome. Current repository:
