    Universis presentes litteras visuris et audituris nos Lambertus de Kylvelbergh, Hermannus frater eius, Arnoldus de Bucghenheym, Jo- hannes filius abbatis de Luverke, Otto filius Reneri dicti Parttennevs de Gasweden, Arnoldus de Tudderen, Henricus de Langenroyde et Henricus de Hocheym notum facimus, quod in stipendium civitatis Coloniensis recepti1) per annum unum, qui currere incipiet tali die, iuravimus tactis sacrosanctis, quicquid alicui nostrum acciderit in ser- vitio civitatis eiusdem, sive interficiatur, quod deus avertat, vel cap- tivetur, quod absit, quod hoc proximi sui et amici contra civitatem Coloniensem communiter vel aliquem civem Coloniensem singulariter non vindicabunt nec requirent, fraude et doio cessantibus in premissis. In cuius rei testimonium nos Kuggerus de Were et Wilhelmus dictus Dobbelsteyn milites nostrum sigillum presentibus duximus apponendum.

    Actum et datum anno domiui millesimo trecentesimo primo, feria Vi. post octavas pentecostes.
