Precipio vobis, quod custodiatis et manuteneatis et protegatis homi- nes et ciues
Colonienses sicut homines meos proprios et omnes res et mercandisias suas, ita quod
neque de domo sua Londonensi gild- halla1) sua, neque de rebus neque de mercaturis
suis aut aliquibus aliis ad eos spectantibus iniuriam aliquam vel contumeliam eis fa-
ciatis nec fieri permittatis, quia fideles mei sunt et ipsi et omnia sua sunt in
protectione et custodia mea. Et ideo firmam pacem ha- beant faciendo rectas
consuetudines suas et nullas exigatis ab eis nouas consuetudines vel rectitudines
