    Nos Fridericus dei gratia marchio de Landisberc recognoscimus tenore prae- sentium publice protestantes, quod nostris civibn.s sive burgensibus in Lipzk liberam quam antiquitus suorum habuerunt debitorum exequendi dedimus facultatem, volentes

    etiam ut scultetus iam fatae civitatis eisdem in iure sui iudicii cooperetur nullatenus obmittendo. Ne igitur super huiusmodi donatione ulla possit ambiguitas in posterum suboriri, praesentem paginam desuper conscriptam eisdem dari iussimus nostri sigilli muniraine roboratam. Datum Lipzk anno domini M°. CC°. LXXXVIF in die beati Michaelis archangeli.

    Nach dem Orig. im llathsarcliiv zu Leipzig. Das au einem von der Urkunde selbst zum Theil losgetrenn ten Pergameutstreifen befestigt gewesene Siegel ist abhanden gekommen.
