    Nos Theodericus dei gratia marchio de Landesberc recognoscimus tenore prae- sentium et notum esse cupiraus universis, quibus praesens scriptum fuerit recitatum, quod omnibus civibus nostris in Lipz talem donavimus libertatem, quod niillus advo- catorum nostrorum debet ipsos compellere, ut ipsi pro aliqua causa respondeant coram ipso; sed si quis adversum cos aliquani babuerit querimoniam, ille debet praedictos uostros cives in civitate nostra Lipz coram sculteto ipsorum et coram civibus conve- nire. Si vero coram sculteto et civibus 11011 potuerit terminare suam querimoniam, tunc ipsam ad nostram praesentiam deferat nosque sibi iustuin iudicium facicmus.

    Ut autem haec rata permaneant praesentem kartam conscribi fecimus et sigilli nostri testimonio roborari. Testes huius rei sunt Thimo de Otolfestorf, Thimo de Cygerowe, Berchtherus dictus List et Meiulierus et Cunradus nostri scriptores, Gotschalcus dictus Smol, Wernherus de Bore, Heinricns de Monte, Theodericus de Grimmis et alii qnaru plures. Datum Lipz anno domini M°. CC°. LXIII0. IIP Kalend. Februarii, indictione VIa.
