    CIA N T presentes et futuri quod ego Margeria filia Rogeri Balle dimisi, concessi, et quietuclamaui de me et heredib3 meis Abbati et monachis Loci Benedicti de Stanlawe dimi- diam bouatam terre in Gerstan, illam, scilicet, quam Ad. de Aynol nesdale de me tenuit. Habend, et tenend. de me et heredib3 meis imppetuum libere, quiete, integre, cum omnib3 ptinentijs, libertatib3, et aisiamentis dicte ville de Gerstan ptinentib3. Hanc autem con- cessionem et quietaclamationem feci, eis p salute anime mee et ante- cessorum et successorum meorum, nichil ab eis pcipiens nisi tamen preces et orationes. ffacient autem dicti Abbas et monachi forinse- cum, quantum spectat ad tantam terram. Ego vero Margeria et heredes mei predictam terram prefatis Abbati et monachis contra omnes homines et feminas imppetuum warantizabimus. In huius rei testimonium presenti scripto sigillum meum apposui.
