Hijs testib, dñis Willmo le Botiler, Willmo de Carleton,

    * Neither the name of Richard le Botiler, nor that of J. de Canccfcld, who is stated as a witness to No. 33 post, are to be found in any of the lists of Sheriffs of tho county. But there is a deficiency in tho modern lists from 1249 to 1256, and another from 1263 to 1272, and therefore these two sheriffs may with great probability be placed within those dates.
