Fridericus etc. honesto Georgio Phleger de Nouaciuitate, nostro fideli dilecto etc. Honeste fidelis dilecte! etc. Te igitur Georgium prenominatum premissorum intuitu ad hoc examinis rigore previo ydoneum repertum tabellionem, ordinarium iudicem sive publicum notarium animo deliberato et ex certa sciencia fecimus creavimus ordinavimus et constituimus facimus creamus ordinamus et constituimus presencium per tenorem. Te de officio huiusmodi, uti moris est, graciosius instituentes recepto tamen prius a te in manus nostras corporali et in huiusmodi prestari solito iuramento in hunc videlicet tenorem sonante: ego Georgius promitto et iuro, quod fidelis ero gloriosissimo et invictissimo principi et domino, domino Friderico Romanorum imperatori semper augusto et omnibus successoribus eius Romanorum imperatoribus et regibus legittime intrantibus nec umquam ero in consilio, ubi periculum suum tractetur, bonum et salutem eius promovebo, dampna illius pro mea possibilitate avertam. instrumenta vero et contractus quoscunque testamenta codicillos et quascunque ultimas voluntates necnon iudiciorum acta, testium deposiciones et dicta fideliter conscribam et ea occulte servabo nullique pandam. donec debeam aut de mandato iudicis vel exigente iusticia publicentur, causas miserabilium personarum orphanorum viduarum et hospitalium atque emendaciones viarum publicarum pro viribus promovebo. Officium quoque notariatus sive tabellionatus exercebo fideliter non attendendo munera odium vel favorem dolo et fraude in premissis semotis quibusvis. Sic me deus adiuvet et sancta dei ewangelia. Decernimus insuper atque hoc cesareo statuimus edicto, quod tu exnunc in antea possis et valeas per totum Romanum imperium ac ubique terrarum facere et conscribere instrumenta tam publica quam privata, ultimas quascumque voluntates. iudiciorum acta ac omnia et singula exercere, que ad notariatus officium spectare videntur et pertinere consuetudine vel de iure volentes insuper auctoritate nostra cesarea predicta. quod instrumentis actis et scripturis per te ut premittitur fiendis conscribendis tam in iudicio quam extra fides adhibeatur plenaria presencium sub nostri imperialis sigilli appenssione testimonio litterarum.
