Ortolf, Erzbischof von Salzburg, beauftragt den Archidiakon von Obersteier und Pfarrer in Proleb (Preleb) den Thomas von Pöllau (Polano) in die Pfründe der Martinskapelle zu Kapfenberg (Chapphenberg) einzuführen.

      Ortolfus dei gratia sancte Saltzburgensis ecclesie archiepiscopus apostolice sedis legatus dilecto in Christo Ulrico superioris Styrie archidyacono et plebano in Preleb salutem in domino. Presentatum nobis ad capellam sancti Martini in Chapphenberch nostre dyocesis vacantem et morte Friderici quondam ipsius rectoris per illustrem principem amicum nostrum karissimum domnum Rudolfum Austrie, Styrie et Karinthie ducem, ad quem ius patronatus ipsus pertinere dinoscitur, dilectum in Christo Thomam de Polano clericum in personam dilecti in Christo Chunradi plebani in Polano nostri notarii per librum, ut moris est, investivimus de cadem devocioni tue committentes pariter et mandantes, quatenus eundem Thomam vel suum in hac parte procuratorem ipsius nomine per te vel alium in dicte capelle et pertinenciarum eius corporalem possessionem inducas et defendas inductum faciens sibi de ipsius fructibus redditibus obvencionibus et pertinenciis universis integraliter responderi contradictores et rebelles auctoritate nostra per censuram ecclesiasticam compescendo. Datum Saltzburge in die sanctorum Innocentum martyrum anno domini millesimo trecentesimo quinquagesimo nono.
