Gotfridus dei gracia Pataviensis episcopus venerabili in Christo preposito monasterii in Reichersperg ord. s. Augustini canonicorum regularium nostre diocesis, salutem in domino. Quia ad propulsandas oppressiones et infestaciones, quibus nos et subiecti nostri ex omni latere afficimur ac ad sufferendum propter hoc gravia expensarum onera et ad evadendum debita ante nos contracta necdum extincta nostre non sufficiunt facultates, ad postulandum a te et aliis nostris subjectis caritativum subsidium nos urget causa racionabilis et necessitas manifesta. Devocionem itaque tuam monemus requirimus in domino et hortamur, quatenus quatuor marcas argenti vel pro marca qualibet duo talenta denariorum Wiennensium, quas a te nomine caritativi subsidii postulamus, ab hinc usque ad festum nativitatis beate Marie virginis proxime affuturum persolvas et archidiacono tuo nostro nomine assignes teque in hiis solvendis sic exhibeas voluntarium et paratum, ut exinde erga nos fervor tue resplendeat caritatis nosque tibi teneamur ad merita graciarum. Quod si forte postulacionem nostram iustam et racionabilem pertransires, dictumque subsidium non persolveres in termino constituto, ex tune te ab ingressu ecclesie suspendimus in hiis scriptis.
