Nos Hugo comes de Werdenberg Sanctique Montis1 tenore presencium || recognoscimus protestantes, dominum Wilhelmum venerabilem abbatem sancti || Galli2 nobis quosdam homines speciales ecclesie sue vulgariter dictos sunder||lute, quos vir strennuus Burchardus de Wartense3 tenebat in pignore, prout instrumento4 sibi super eo tradito evidenter colligitur, pro quinque marcis puri et legalis argenti ponderis Constan(tiensis) titulo pignoris iure quolibet obligasse tenendos ac possidendos tam diu, quousque a prescripto domino Wil. aut suis successoribus nobis seu heredibus nostris antedicta pecunia integraliter persolvatur, dantes igitur has litteras in testimonium super eo, pridie kalln. octobris, anno domini M°.CC°LXXXVIII°. indictione prima.
