200. Final concord before the justices itinerant at Southampton between Robert le Heyward and Guy Godino, concerning a half messuage and four acres of land in Carisbrooke. Robert recognized this to be the share of Guy in the inheritance of his kinsman, James of Sibdown. For this Guy granted to Robert two acres in the field called Lanend and afterwards also 2 marks. Hec est finalis concordia facta in curia domini regis apud Suthamt[] in octava Purificacionis beate Marie anno regni regis Henrici filii regis Johannis tricesimo tercio coram Henrico de Baton[] Alan de Wonsad[] Willelmo de Wilt[] Regin[] de Cobbeham Willelmo de Breton iusticiariis itinerantibus domini regis fidelibus tunc ibi presentibus inter Robertus le Heyward petentem et Widonem Godino tenentem de medietate unius mesuagii et quatuor acris terre cum pertinenciis in Karesbrok[] quas idem Robertus clamabat esse racionabilem partem suam que eum contingebat de hereditate que fuit Jacobi de Sibedesden[] avunculi ipsius Widonis et consanguinei ipsius Roberti cuius heredes ipsi sunt in eadem villa et unde placitum fuit inter eos in eadem curia scilicet quod predictus Robertus recognovit predictam medietatem cum pertinenciis esse racionabilem partem ipsius Widonis habend et tenend ipsi Widoni et heredibus suis de capitalibus dominis feudi illius per servicia que ad predictam medietatem pertinent inperpetuum Et pro hac recognicione fine et concordia idem Wido concessit predicto Roberto duas acras terre cum pertinenciis in eadem villa que iacent in campo que vocatur Lanende versus umbram habend et tenend eidem Roberto et heredibus suis de capitalibus dominis feodi illius per servicia que ad duas acras pertinent inperpetuum Et preterea Wido dedit predicto Roberto duas marcas argenti
